This is a new role so you’ll have a lot of creative license. The Client Acquisition Director plans, directs, and coordinates the marketing of the firm’s services by performing the responsibilities outlined below either personally, or through marketing assistant(s), vendors, or other team members.
The Client Acquisition Director will also serve as bridge between the marketing and sales departments for purposes of (1) recommending improvements to our intake, pre-engagement, and post-engagement processes to improve engagement rates and overall satisfaction (e.g., making recommendations for different intake/pre-engagement paths based on lead source or similar) and (2) analysis of marketing and sales conversion rates for trends and areas of improvement (e.g., intake and sales conversion rates for different lead sources).
The Client Acquisition Director reports to the Owners and Firm Administrator with respect to all professional activities and all issues concerning his or her relationship with CFEP.
The Client Acquisition Director manages the marketing aspects of the firm and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures within the marketing department to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees and vendors; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The Client Acquisition Director may recommend improvements to the intake, pre-engagement, post-engagement, or other sales-related processes to the Director of Client Relations. The Director of Client Relations will be responsible for deciding whether to accept such recommendations and oversee the implementation of such or request assistance from the Marketing Department in implementing such recommendations (e.g., changes to pre-engagement or post-engagement sequence).
